This website promotes the fine art photography of David Usill by Window on the World® Limited (‘WOTW® Ltd’). The following terms and conditions apply to the individual or business (‘The Client’) using this website to select and purchase his fine art photographic limited edition prints. Limited Edition Prints

  1. All prints will be personally printed by David Usill in the ‘WOTW® Ltd’ London studio.

  2. Prints will be made using Epson Ultrachrome HDR inks on high quality glossy double weight photographic paper.

  3. All prints prices shown on the website are for Gloss Perspex Face Mounted images supplied with a rear hanging frame.

  4. Matt Perspex and UV anti reflection Perspex available by separate negotiation confirmed by pre-order request and purchase order.

  5. Rolled paper prints are only available by separate negotiation. (See Purchase and Information Page on the main site)

  6. Each edition will be printed at the single set size indicated below the photographs on the website.

  7. Limited Edition means there are no alternative sizes made of any image. The A4 reference print, made in the course of the sales procedure, is not part of any edition and only supplied to gauge colour and quality by ‘The Client’.

  8. Images shown as 109 x 145cm (or 145 x 109 cm) will be strictly limited to editions of 12 prints.

  9. Images shown as 109 x 82 or (82 x 109 cm) will be strictly limited to editions of 25 prints.

  10. Where larger measurements are shown these prints will be limited to editions of 6 prints.

  11. While colours may vary from screen to screen the artistic control for the colour of the final print will be based on David Usill’s artistic standards.

  12. All prints will be supplied with a Certificate of Guarantee, signed by David Usill, stating edition number and bearing the two company seals. These will be attached to the rear of the face mounted image.

Purchasing Procedure

'WOTW Ltd' is happy to discuss the work with ‘The Client’ at any stage before the official order procedure starts.

  1. The price of the print is set out on the website under each image.

  2. All prints prices shown on the website contain UK Value Added Tax (at the current rate) for images ordered by customers in the United Kingdom.

  3. Prices may vary for overseas orders depending on applicable tax and duties for those territories.

  4. To initiate a purchase an enquiry should be made by ‘The Client’ contacting ‘WOTW Ltd’ by email at enquiries@winworld.co.uk. The email should contain ‘The Clients’ details (see Privacy Policy) and Image request as follows:-

    1. Name (of 'The Client’)

    2. Address and telephone number

    3. Shipping Address if different to (b)

    4. Name of print

    5. Size of print (displayed on website)

  5. ‘WOTW Ltd’ will provide a quotation confirming:-

    1. The final price of the print (including VAT)

    2. The number of the edition

    3. Shipping Address
    4. Crating and shipping costs to UK or Worldwide location (delivery dates may vary for overseas shipping)
  6. ‘WOTW Ltd’ will issue an invoice for a 10% deposit when acceptance of the quotation is recieved by email).

  7. On payment of the 10% deposit 'WOTW Ltd' send an A4 reference print to confirm colour and image quality to ‘The Client”. This will also confirm that the shipping address is correct.

  8. If, after receiving the A4 reference print, ‘The Client’ no longer wishes to proceed they should notify ‘WOTW Ltd’ by email and return the A4 reference print by recorded delivery to Window on the World Ltd, 2 Jeffreys Walk, London SW4 6QF. The 10% deposit will be refunded.

  9. In the event of a sale the A4 reference print should be retained by ‘The Client’ along with the certificate of guarantee attached to the rear of the Perspex face mount.

  10. If 'The Client' wishes to proceed, they should contact “WOTW Ltd, by email with a confirmation of the order and acceptance of the terms and conditions.

  11. ‘WOTW Ltd’ will issue a balance invoice  to ‘The Client’ for the remaining cost. This will include crating and shipping costs & payment method.

  12. On receipt of payment ‘WOTW Ltd’ will begin production and inform 'The Client' of an estimated delivery date..

  13. Prints from ‘WOTW Ltd’ are not stock items and all prints are printed to order. As all items are bespoke the order cannot be cancelled once the balance payment has been processed. By making a final payment of the ‘WOTW Ltd’ invoice “The Client” accepts the terms and conditions on this website

  14. ‘WOTW Ltd‘ will issue a despatch email to the client ‘The Client’ prior to shipping and provide the shipping company's terms and conditions.

Delivery

  1. ‘WOTW Ltd’ will photograph the final mounted print (or paper print) to register condition before crating.

  2. “WOTW Ltd’ will state the value of the material replacement cost for shipping insurance purposes.

  3. The Client’ is responsible for the payment of all overseas import taxes, customs and duties.

  4. All items sent by courier or shipping companies will be despatched in a bespoke shipping crate.

  5. Shipping is carried out by reputable shipping companies (UPS, Fedex etc)

  6. On delivery ‘The Client’ is responsible for inspecting the external delivery crate, photographing any noticeable damage and noting this on the delivery confirmation receipt. This according to  the terms and conditions of the shipping company used by ‘WOTW Ltd’.

  7. If there is significant external damage, that may affect the contents of the crate, ‘The Client’ should refuse delivery and inform the shipping company and ‘WOTW Ltd’ immediately.

  8. Failure to inform the shipping company, within their terms and conditions relating to damage, will be deemed as accepting delivery.

  9. ‘The Client’ is responsible for carefully unpacking the crate and inspecting the Perspex face mounted print within the time frame specified in their terms and conditions.

  10. Any damage that has occurred during transportation to the contents of the crate should be photographed and reported to the shipping company within the time frame specified in their terms and conditions.

  11. ‘The Client’ should at the same time inform ‘WOTW Ltd’ that a damage report has been submitted to the shipping company so they may investigate the situation.

  12. In the event of in-transit  damage to the finished article, ‘WOTW Ltd” will arrange the supply of a replacement if all the Shipping Company's terms and conditions have been met by ‘The Client' .

  3. A framed David Usill print may appear in the background of photographs in editorial articles in print or electronic displays

  5. On resale of a ©David Usill numbered limited edition print it must be stated that the copyright always remains with ©David Usill. Window on the World® Limited, London

  6. Any non-editorial commercial use requires copyright clearance in writing form David Usill, Window on the World® Limited, London

Trade Marks

  1. Window on the World® and Window on® are registered trademarks in the United Kingdom for all printed matter in Class 16, excluding that for computer program literature.

  2. Window on the World® and Window on® are registered trademarks in the United Kingdom,  Class 9, for all electronic storage and retrieval systems for photographic images.
